The Last Day I Saw Her.
I was having a shitty day. I have a trapped nerve in my neck, the window blind in my bedroom jammed and I couldn’t open it, and someone hacked my website. Great!
And then a book I won courtesy of Black and White Publishing and Jera’s Jamboree arrived in the post.
The Last Day I Saw Her by Lucy Lawrie is “an emotional story of secrets, hope and long lost friendship, with a supernatural twist.” There’s nothing like a new book to improve the day. I sneaked the first chapter while the nice guy from the website hosting checked the damage to my site. I was hooked.
Better still, Lucy Lawrie is from Edinburgh, so the book is perfect for my British Books Challenge. (Look out for the review coming soon.)
